Providing Holistic Education

For children’s social, emotional, intellectual and physical development.

The education programs provided at Eastwood Early Education reflect a constructivist view of learning whereby children learn by doing, through play. Teachers create individualised plans for each child based on their observations and interactions with the child, recognition of the child’s interests, strengths and limitations. The Early Years Learning Framework informs the development of this program.  Children are provided with quality resources, qualified teachers, time, space and a flexible, supportive and nurturing environment.

Constantly Developing & Reflecting

On our role in children's development, care and education.

In recent years, early childhood professionals have converged around the promotion of play as a vital element in child development. Play is the means through which children learn most effectively. Through its natural integration of experience and thinking, the constructivist approach to teaching encourages children to unfold how the world works not just as observers, but as active participants.

Let's all go and play
